Import folder
Does the desktop application have the possibility to monitor a folder and import any files added to it as a note?

Lucian AdminThank you for the suggestion!
Is the feature referring to importing all files inside a folder as separate notes inside the app? Should the app also monitor that folder and update notes as files are changed, added or deleted?
Are there any apps you know of that do this? -

GIn my view there is a folder that is monitored for new files. For every new file (in a supported fornat) added there the app should create a new note with the file name as note name. After this the file can be (optionally) deleted from that folder automatically.
Evernote legacy has this function.
An alternative would be for the app to offer a functionality to add a new note from a file being dragged to it without the user having to create a new note first and only then attach the file. -

Lucian AdminSince your initial suggestion for a feature that allows monitoring a folder seems a bit niche, prone to interpretation and rather rare on the market, I will mark it as Unplanned. Maybe @Bill can intervene and review this.
In the meantime, you can add a separate suggestion for "Notes can be created via drag and dropping supported files" and we will consider that one, since it looks like a more reasonable and atomic feature. -

GReason I added it is that it is a greatly missed function of the new Evernote-version.
